WHEREAS, a vacancy of an Inspector position exists in the Code Enforcement Office, and WHEREAS, Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini and Director of Strategic Planning and Municipal Codes Barbara Roberti participated in interviews and recommends the appointment of , and WHEREAS, the full time Inspector position is a competitive position under Civil Service Law which is subject to competitive examination, and WHEREAS, the full time Inspector position is subject to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Town of Wappinger and Teamsters Local 445 ("CBA"), and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The Town Board hereby appoints as Inspector in the Code Enforcement Office who shall be compensated at $ per hour which shall be paid in weekly installments, in accordance with the CBA. 2. The above appointment is subject to the approval of the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources and is further subject to Civil Service Law and the Rules of New York State and the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources. 3. The above appointment is subject to a probationary term of not less than eight nor more than twenty-six weeks in accordance with the rules of the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources. 4. All necessary documentation for the appointment shall be filed with the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources.
