2026-632026-63 Resolution Authorizing Transfer Of Funds At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on February 9, 2026. The meeting was called to order by Joseph D. WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger has entered into a 2026 Service Agreement with the Wappinger United Soccer Club, Inc. for the maintenance and support of Town -owned soccer fields and park facilities; and WHEREAS, pursuant to that agreement, the Wappinger United Soccer Club, Inc. provides services that assist in the upkeep and preparation of Town athletic fields for community use; and WHEREAS, the purchase of field line paint is necessary to properly maintain and line the soccer fields utilized for Town recreation programming and community athletic activities; and WHEREAS, the cost of such field line paint in the amount of $3,000 was not specifically budgeted and requires a transfer of funds; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in A Fund Balance to cover this expense; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger hereby authorizes a budget transfer in the amount of $3,000 from A Fund Balance to budget line A.7145.400 - Joint Recreation Partnerships for the purpose of purchasing field line paint for use by the Wappinger United Soccer Club, Inc. in maintaining Town -owned soccer fields and parks in accordance with the 2026 Service Agreement; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini and Town Comptroller Daniel O. Tucker are hereby authorized and directed to take all actions necessary to effectuate this transfer.
