Re: Town Re -levies onto the 2026 County/Town Tax Bills

Please be advised that the re -levies for the 2026 tax bills are due November,2025.
All lists must be submitted in an excelspreadsheet or a text file. No other formats will be accepted.
In addition all lists should be submitted in one email bV a single representative from the Town.
Your re -levy files must contain the following, (example below):
• SWIS Code
• Full Grid Number, (including the trailing zeros)
• Type of re -levy
• Rounded dollar amount
• Location
• One grid number per re -levy type
• Grand total for each re -levy type
Please forward this memo to the appropriate person responsible for preparing the re -levy list
(unpaid water/sewer, garbage bills, etc.).

Things to remember:
1. A header record is required.
2. The SWIS must include all six digits.
3. The grid number must include all 19 characters, including hyphens and trailing zeros, in a
single field.
4. The re -levy amount must be rounded to 2 decimal places. Please be aware that if you provide
a spreadsheet with calculated values, your actual totals may differ from those that are
calculated in the spreadsheet due to rounding. There is a rounding function within Excel that
may help with the accuracy of your totals.
