At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 14, 2025.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Phillips and seconded by Casella.
WHEREAS, based on the applicable economic market in connection with recruiting and retaining certain
employees of the Town, the Town has determined that there is a need to increase the hourly rate of pay
for certain individuals currently employed by the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board, after review of this matter, has determined that it is appropriate and
necessary to increase the pay of certain incumbents to ensure proper staffing within the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini has approached the collective bargaining agent for
the at -issue positions and has reached terms for a memorandum of agreement ("MOA') (a copy of which
is attached hereto), which the Town Board believes prudent to authorize signature of and wishes to ratify
the same; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town hereby:
1. Authorizes Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini to sign and implement the attached memorandum of
agreement and, also, ratifies the same.
2. Authorizes Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini to take such action as is necessary to implement the
MOA, including the payment of wages either retroactively or prospectively, whichever the case may be.
Should the need arise, the Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini is authorized to make minor non -
substantive revisions to the MOA.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
