2025-1692025-169 Resolution Introducing Local Law 6 of 2025 And Providing For Public Notice And Hearing At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on September 22, 2025. The meeting was called to order by Joseph D. BE IT RESOLVED, that proposed Local Law No. of the year 2025 of the Town of Wappinger, County of Dutchess and State of New York extending, for a period of six (6) months, Local Law No. I of 2024 entitled "A Local Law the Regulation For An Interim Period, The Receipt, Processing And Approval Of Applications For Subdivisions Greater Than Three Lots And Applications For Multi -Family Residential Development Within The Town Of Wappinger" (the "Local Law Extension"), is hereby introduced to the Wappinger Town Board, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of the aforesaid proposed Local Law Extension be laid upon the desk of each member of the Board, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on said proposed Local Law Extension at the Town Hall, in the Town of Wappinger, New York at 7 o'clock P.M. on October 14, 2025 or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk publish or cause to be published a public notice in the official newspaper of the Town of Wappinger of said public hearing at least five (5) days prior thereto, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk shall send or cause a copy of the Local Law Extension to the Dutchess County Department of Planning in accordance with the applicable provisions of Section 239 of the General Municipal Law at least 10 days prior thereto.
