Resolution Authorizing Construction of Prager Family Recognition at Martz Field Recreation Facility
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls,
New York, on July 14, 2025.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph D.
Cavaccini, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called,

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Casella.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger owns the Martz Field Recreation Facility which was donated to the Town by
Joseph Howard Prager Sr., and
WHEREAS, in appreciation of this generous donation of one of the Town's most active parks, the Town Board finds
it appropriate to recognize the Prage rfamily's contribution, and
WHEREAS, the construction of anew tennis court viewing pergola, benches, and memorial plaque are proposed at
the Montfort Road side of Martz Field Recreation Facility, and
WHEREAS, the Town has obtained estimates for the Prager Family Recognition site at the cost of $5,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the construction of the Prager Family Recognition site at Martz Field
Recreation Facility.
3. The Town Board authorizes the capital project budget not to exceed $5,000.00 for the total cost to complete the
recognition.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
