Resolution Confirming Hiring Of Personnel Assistant
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on July 14,
2025.

The following Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Cavaccini and seconded by
Casella.
WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Taryn Riley, a vacancy exists in the position of Personnel
Assistant in the Comptroller's Office, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has identified the need for an employee to perform Human Resources
clerical duties such as payroll, filling paperworkwith Dutchess County Human Resources, handling
healthcare and retirement information, and other related tasks as assigned, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby confirms the hiring of Megan
Squarzini to the position of Personnel Assistant, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Megan Squarzini shall be paid a salary of
$80,000, with 3 weeks vacation time.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
