Resolution Declaring Vehicle As Surplus Town Property
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on June 23,
2025.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph D. Cavaccini, Town Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Casella.
WHEREAS, the Town has property that is requested to be declared surplus by the Town Supervisor,
and
WHEREAS, said property consists of a 1991 Fire Rescue Truck with 33,000 miles for $22,000 that
was purchased by the Buildings and Grounds Department in 2023, and
WHEREAS, the 1991 Fire Rescue Truck cannot and has never been operated by Town Buildings and
Grounds employees due to weight restrictions, maintenance issues, etc., and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said property is hereby declared surplus and is to be
auctioned off by the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
